In 1854, Louis Vuitton Malletier founded Louis Vuitton on the Rue Neuve des Capucines in Paris. Before becoming the huge brand that LV is today, Louis Vuitton specialised in the crafting of rigid cases and canvas-covered wooden steamer trunks. It wasn’t until 2007 when the Louis Vuitton Neverfull bag was introduced. Since then, the Neverfull has become one of LV’s all-time most successful handbags!
This famous Louis Vuitton bag has been seen on the arms of many celebrities and fashion lovers. Sadly, not many can afford this ‘must-have’ leather piece. With a price tag exceeding $1,000 for some limited editions, it is a pricey item to own!
Gladly, in 2019 there are many affordable dupes of the Louis Vuitton Neverfull! Although they are not exactly the same (as that is illegal!), some look undeniably similar to the real one! I’ve managed to find the crème de la crème for you, plus some Louis Vuitton Neverfull-inspired handbags.
Ahead, the best Louis Vuitton dupes that rival the real one!

The LV Neverfull bag comes in three sizes – PM, MM and GM. The PM, or petite model, is the smallest version. The GM, on the other hand, is the largest size. Even though most of the Louis Vuitton Neverfull dupes I’ve found are coming in the MM size, some of the other options are also available!
Whatever size you choose to go for, this tote is super spacious. As the name suggests, this LV handbag will never be full! On the contrary, you can fit more in your tote than you’d expect to!
Being the most popular choice, I’ve found a few dupes of the Monogram Neverfull bag, along with several others inspired by the original. Although the Monogram version is the most sought-after, I prefer the Damier Azur one! I’ve even managed to find an extremely similar Louis Vuitton Neverfull dupe! In fact, visually it could rival the real one. At first glance, the only thing that gives it away is the missing ‘Louis Vuitton’ logo. Leaving that aside, it is the perfect handbag to uplift any spring outfit!

As the title hints, the above handbags are not dupes of the LV Neverfull! Simply put, they are lookalikes of the iconic bag. They don’t have a similarly coated canvas but offer an inspired Neverfull design. With closely matched sizing and colour options, these Louis Vuitton Neverfull lookalikes are perfect for those of you who are not really fans of the LV canvas designs!
Louis Vuitton Neverfull History & Specifications
You are already aware that the Louis Vuitton Neverfull was first introduced back in 2007, but let’s take a further look into its history and specifications.
Louis Vuitton created the Neverfull bag as a larger tote style, able to carry all of a modern woman’s essentials and more. You can literally fit your laptop, phone, notebook… heck, even your groceries! It became the brand’s most popular handbag. Because of that, a number of Artists have collaborated on limited edition designs for the Neverfull. For instance, Stephen Sprouse with his graffiti print and Takashi Murakami with a whole range of Cherry print designs.
The Neverfull typically comes in Monogram, Damier Azur and Damier Ebène coated canvas. The most popular version of the bag is the Monogram print, which was introduced in 1896. The print has the LV logo, quatrefoils and flowers on it. The Damier, on the other hand, is a two-tone chequered print. As a matter of fact, the print was introduced in 1888, even before the Monogram! It was developed to prevent the counterfeiting of LV’s iconic trunks. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find a Neverfull Damier Ebène dupe but you can get the Azur option.
You can also purchase the LV Neverfull in Epi leather. Epi is the ‘youngest’ material and was introduced in 1985. Inspired by the texture of the leathers that Louis Vuitton used in the 20s, Epi comes in almost every colour!
Needless to say, the Neverfull comes in three sizes – PM, MM and GM. The most popular one is MM! Gladly, the majority of the Louis Vuitton Neverfull dupes (and lookalikes!) come in the MM size.
What do you think of these Louis Vuitton Neverfull dupes – do they rival the real one?
